OVERVIEW
Redefining fashion as an artistic dialogue, creating a deeper connection between fashion and it’s community.
RAUFASER is a berlin based fashion brand that redefines fashion as a creative expression, blending art, community, and craftsmanship. the brand focuses on creating unique, handmade pieces that are designed to create new shapes, silhouettes and appearances. through careful experimentation with textures, materials, and cuts it offers a distinct, artistic take on fashion.
HIGHLIGHTS
Connecting 30,000+ people through exhibitions blending fashion, art, and technology.
At RAUFASER, we explore how emerging technologies and material innovation can shape new forms of human-centered expression.
As co-founder, I direct creative strategy, branding, and visual identity across both exhibitions and digital platforms. Our launch event in Berlin welcomed 600+ guests, and the brand was later showcased at Positions Art Fair 2025, reaching over 30,000 visitors.
PROBLEM SPACE
Fashion as a closed system: exclusive, opaque, disconnected.
Fashion has long been defined by exclusivity, gatekeeping, and closed processes. Designers and brands create behind closed doors, while consumers are left on the outside, invited only to buy into a finished vision. This lack of transparency and participation disconnects people from the products they wear. The result is overproduction, uniformity, and a culture of consumption that often feels detached and unsustainable.
THE IDEA
Without change, fashion risks irrelevance and promoting even more unsustainability.
If fashion continues to operate as a top-down system of exclusion and spectacle, it risks deepening its disconnect from cultural realities and consumer values. People are increasingly seeking belonging, authenticity, and participation. Without new ways to open up the creative process and invite collaboration, the industry will remain out of touch, fueling waste and weakening its cultural relevance.
CONCEPT
A platform that combines design, technology, and fashion into collective experimentation.
RAUFASER explores how digital tools and physical craftsmanship can merge to reshape how fashion is created and experienced. It connects designers, artists, and communities through co-creation, transparency, and exchange. Instead of fashion being developed behind closed doors, RAUFASER opens it up. Turning design into a participatory process through events, workshops, and a digital platform. By integrating emerging technologies with material experimentation, RAUFASER transforms fashion from an object of consumption into a shared, creative experience.
ETHOS
Raw, responsible, transparent, and built to last.
We are committed to responsibility and transparency in every step of production. In response to the environmental and social consequences of fast fashion, we focus on creating long-lasting garments with purpose and integrity.
We believe that fashion should not come at the expense of people or the planet. That’s why we produce in limited quantities, handmade in berlin, value timeless design over seasonal trends, and aim to make clothing that reflects awareness, not excess.
PROCESS
Raw minimalism as a timeless brand language.
RAUFASER’s visual identity is raw, reduced and precise - brutalist minimalism, anchored in a strict black-white-grey palette that mirrors the brand’s sculptural silhouettes.
The Website is a minimalist, monochrome shop that showcases RAUFASER’s collections and products, designed in the brands design language, with a lot of motion elements.
We create handmade garments through bold experimentation with shapes, textures, and materials - each piece challenging conventional silhouettes.
The permanent “serie” collection offers timeless pieces that are always available.
IMPACT
RAUFASER
RAUFASER presents handmade garments that push beyond convention through sculptural silhouettes and material experimentation.
The result is a collection that feels raw, minimal, and distinct, fashion reduced to essence, designed to endure.

REFLECTION
Exploring fashion as a medium for experimental, human-centered expression.
RAUFASER has become a medium where I can explore ideas that extend beyond utility, using fashion to question how materials, technology, form, and presentation communicate. Working collaboratively allows me to treat that area as a research surface, testing how context, narrative, and texture shape the way people engage with objects and each other. I experiment with how form and digital media can shape perception, emotion, and atmosphere.
This ongoing exploration balances my product-focused design work, reminding me that meaning often emerges through expression and encounter rather than function alone.
